Elena Gomez is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist, licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the College of William and Mary before achieving a Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture at Virginia University of Integrative Medicine.

With a background in Western medicine, she was introduced to acupuncture and the field of Chinese medicine while working at an integrative wellness center in Richmond, Virginia. Elena resonates with the whole-body, hands-on approach to health that acupuncture provides, harnessing the body’s ability to heal itself and return to equilibrium. 

Elena takes pride in providing compassionate and personalized care that connects patient and provider. Her treatments include acupuncture needling, cupping, gua sha, tui-na massage, and gentle lifestyle advice for a wide range of disorders. Much of her 500 hours of clinical training focused on treating orthopedic and psycho-emotional conditions. She engages her education, personal healing journey, and the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine to offer a holistic and patient-centered approach to care.
