(she/her)
Elizabeth is a Nationally Board Certified and state certified acupuncturist licensed by the Virginia Board of Medicine. She is a graduate of the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s Master of Science Degree in Acupuncture (M.S.Ac.) program.
Elizabeth is interested in exploring the intersections between traditional healing modalities and our modern understanding of anatomy and physiology. She was drawn to Traditional Chinese Medicine because it treats the whole person rather than viewing the body in a compartmentalized, myopic way. She focuses on the mind-body connection in seeking to resolve chronic and acute pain, stress, sleep problems, fertility issues, and digestive disorders, among others. Elizabeth has completed postgraduate coursework in treating conditions related to pregnancy and postpartum — a specialty she has felt drawn to since the birth of her own children in 2019 and 2021.
In addition to acupuncture and adjunct modalities including cupping, trigger point therapy and moxibustion, Elizabeth’s sessions offer movement-based therapies, nutrition counseling and lifestyle advice to empower her clients on their health journey beyond the treatment room. She truly believes acupuncture can help everyone, no matter where they are in life, and considers it an honor to make a difference in someone’s health and instill lifelong change for the better.
Elizabeth has over a decade of experience helping to bring bodies into balance including her work as a Certified Yoga Instructor. Elizabeth also holds a BFA in Communication Arts from Virginia Commonwealth University and worked as a graphic and web designer before deciding to pursue a career in acupuncture. She lives in Bon Air with her family and two dogs.
